No. Vocado is a direct download from vocado.ai — a notarized, signed DMG. Auto-updates are built in, so you'll always have the latest version without checking the App Store.

macOS 14 (Sonoma) and later. Vocado is a native Mac app — it lives in your menu bar and works system-wide via a global hotkey. iOS isn't supported: Apple's keyboard-extension rules make a good dictation experience on iPhone impossible, so we built the best Mac app we could instead.
